Disable All WordPress Updates — WordPress Plugins

This plugin completely disables the topic plugin and core update checking system in WordPress. If you use this plugin make sure you keep yourself up to date with new releases of active WordPress version plugins. and topic and update them as new versions are released only by deactivating this plugin for not long time.. With demonstrating the plugin core and plugin update checkings are disabled. I just installed this plugin and activated it and that's No any update registration anymore Also it's to automatically update your WordPress anytime just temporarily deactivate this plugin and make the need update then activate it.. Simply deactivate when you want to recheck which updates are and hopefully you'll be able to decide what you want to update and what you do not..... Phew finally stopping the barrage. wasanajones. page has number of plugins so update rechecks were only wrecking admin application and you will see effect on front-end pages with admin gallery. I removed various them from the gallery and recommend Disable All WordPress Updates and seeing obvious difference. some plugins also doing their own rechecks and http requests but overall improvement. thanks.... Browse the code recheck out SVN repository or subscribe to the development log RSS.... Improved blocking of incoming wordpress. org API rechecks which caused slow speed local delivery Thanks Makapaka... Fixed issue that also allowed WordPress to update security and maintenance versions..  Read more
