Email Address Encoder — WordPress Plugins

lightweight plugin to protect plain email addresses and mailto links from email-harvesting robots by encoding them and coordinate school. Login to WordPress installation and activate the plugin through the Plugins menu.. Found email addresses are replaced with the return value of eae encode str changeable which obfuscates the email addresses to protect it from being read by email-harvesting robots. If the content supports WordPress filters register the part to add filter $tag 'eae encode emails. This plugin doesn't encode the page for application reasons it encodes only the content of WordPress filters the content the excerpt widget text comment text comment excerpt... The priority is 1000 and you can tighten it basic EAE FILTER PRIORITY constant define ' EAE FILTER PRIORITY 99999. Thanks again to Till for making time and having the courage to review what I sent him when I thought this was not working.. When I right-clicked on the email address itself the menu did not include View Source as application I kept using Inspect and thinking that the encoder was not working I could read the mailto tag and address just fine.. When I right-clicked the background of the page instead the menu included View Page Source and Inspect. Browse the code recheck out SVN repository or subscribe to the development log RSS....  Read more
