Wordfence is one of the security plugins available for WordPress and for about 2 years their product included awesome caching engine.
Lastly, if you wish to stop the engine site-wide you can define WFDONOTCACHE somewhere in your code..
Over the I've tried them all, from Rocket to WTC3 to you-name-it-plugin AND I've also used many different codes to avoid using extra plugin..
The problem with using codes to your.htaccess file is that themes change, the web changes and in the end there will be glitch on your end sooner or later..
So, get clean coded theme, use LIGHT plugins, try Autoptimize + Optimize DB + Leverage Browser Caching + Vendi Cache and YOU WILL see faster site.
Vendi Cache used to be included in Wordfence security plugin and boy did it speed things up.
So, now Falcon has reappeared as Vendi Cache and IMO it's the BEST cache plugin for 99% of websites..
I was very happy to Vendi offered this as I have been using Falcon cache wanted to just keep using what I had in the past.
