SEO for Google is the speed at which your website downloads. Aptly named PageSpeed, it incorporates scale between zero and 100 to rate your website speed, and 85 is considered the minimum passing score.. They measure how quickly your website loads, how much time people spend on it and if they leave your page or not .. The Facts 73% of Internet users say that they've encountered website that was too slow to load. 47% of consumers expect web page to load in 2 seconds or less. 40% of people abandon website that takes more than 3 seconds to load.. Maybe your website has been around few years and it's not taking advantage of the latest technologies available to make websites load fast. we shoot for time of 2 seconds or less.  Google has said that speed is factor and it makes sense because fast loading website contributes to better experience for your website visitors. We have found that the page would not load in user-friendly way. This is why we do not suggest optimizing for Google PageSpeed except mainly for Pingdom so you end up with good page load time.. This does not mean we wo not use Google PageSpeed as tool to help diagnose why page loads except optimizing Google wants is not the goal we're after and we think this is decision.  Read more
