You can use all of Display Posts parameters to customize the query..
Use the parameter to break it down by month.
To list all your content, use high posts per page, like 999.
You can also add optional title to appear above the listing..
Use the parameter to break it down by year.
If you're developer, you can use the following filters to customize the markup display posts date view heading tag The heading tag used for date headings.
Default is h4. display posts date view heading class The class added to the heading tag.
Default is.display-posts-date. display posts date view month format The date format used for month headings.
Default is 'F Y display posts date view year format The date format used for year headings.
