Google's John Mueller addressed question on how the algorithm measures the credibility and expertise of publishers.. In Google Webmaster Central on January 22, the following question was asked .. Given that the quality guidelines are indication of how does the algorithm handle measuring the expertise and credibility of publishers... There's nothing technical owner could do to send signals to Google about their expertise and credibility.. If there was such Google would let people know, Mueller says.. There used to be things like markup that could be used to send information to Google about author of piece of content.. Ever expertise has been button issue amongst SEOs.. it sounds like there are no hard signals in place to measure E-A-T..
