Each language and country has specific code you will need to use if you're going to translate WordPress into Spanish you'll name your file es ES.po., whereas if you're translating into German you'll name the de DE.po.. In many cases the language and country will be the same, hence de DE for Germany, and what about languages like English or Portuguese that are spoken in several countries natively. In these cases there will be in the first and second letter pairs for UK, the code would be en GB., whereas for USA it will be en US.. where they have all for Language and Country. The space at the top will display all the text ready to translate, and any completed translations will display to the right. Now that your theme has been translated, you can upload it to your WordPress install either using FTP or by logging into your WordPress site and uploading your theme by going to Appearance > Themes > Install Themes .. Then, go to Loco Translate > Manage Translations and translate the theme from your WordPress backend following the plugin instructions.. you will need to play with little code to force WordPress to use your translated files.. Once translation has been finished, WordPress which language file to use. your site will display French and your WordPress admin area will continue to display English..
