In Emerging Tech David Lockie had the chance to talk about lot of WordPress with Noel Tock plus catch up on what he is doing. This is the final thought coming from Noel, and I would recommend checking out the conversation Learn WordPress Product Marketing with Noel Tock.. I'd say what I talked about now is the thing that bugs me the most or lives rent in my mind is that amazing effort and energy that everyone puts into WordPress, and then is trying to fit through pipe that's way too in terms of product marketing is never displayed in its full glory to the rest of the in very specialized way.. And it's struggle to you start thinking, are you delusional because you're talking to client when they say WordPress does not do this, does not do that. And you're sitting there thinking, am I just like WordPress advocate or do I know what I'm talking about.. That's what I think should be WordPress's mission for the next two years because we are in time when we've gone boom bust and we have opportunity to seize right now as companies are looking at down rounds and they're laying off staff.. One of the first places they cut is R&D and innovation, and we have opportunity to catch up on that ground. I do not even think we have to build that stuff, except I think we have to just do much better job of product marketing at three, four or five levels of niches. There are just merely abstractions and narratives that sit on top of WordPress we know today.
