media auto hash rename – wordpress plugin

Media Auto Hash Rename will rename any file during upload, with unique, collision hases.   This plugin provides no GUI to make it more easier to maintain with WordPress updates..   MAHR LENGTH length of the random hashes, longer can help reduce collision.   MAHR CHARS Characters used in hashes, default to 0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz , You can add more characters like uppercased alphabelts to reduce the collision without increasing the length of your filenames.   MAHR CHARS File extensions to be ignored, default to pdf, zip, you can define comma delimited list of file extensions to bypass renaming process of this plugin.   Please note that File extensions must be defined without the leading peroid, for example 'pdf, 7z, bmp works, pdf,7z,bmp does not..   For example, if you define z, then 'pdf, zip will be processed during upload.   If you don't need to ignore any files by its extension define array to this option define to force process PDF and ZIP files...   Upload the extracted files to the wp-content plugins directory, or just install this plugin from your WordPress backend..   Interested in development.., check out SVN repository, or subscribe to the development log by RSS...   Read more
