small chatter around a google search algorithm update this week

For the week or so, I've been seeing chatter within the community about Google search algorithm updates.   Truth is, the chatter is very limited and those who are complaining seeing huge changes for their sites Google search.   The I am covering it's because after about five days of hearing this chatter, it's still going on.   It can be that lot of people are already taking it easy thus not chatting about it in SEO communities.   Generally, Google does not make huge changes to their ranking algorithms before the holidays.   Wondering whether it was Christmas break or the lead up to more roll outs.   Me too, after 12 hours I was at 15% of average and at this time of year this is normal for me however I was not expecting it to happen until this weekend.   One of my clients who experienced huge traffic drop post Medic Update has had in the 2 days.   it's not at the levels of the bigger updates..   Forum at WebmasterWorld, Black Hat World and Local Search Forums...   Read more
