WooCommerce 3.9 is compatible with WooCommerce block 2.5.11 and now you can select and display your products on posts or pages in new and flexible fashion.. WooCommerce was first integrated with MaxMind Geolocation February 2015 with WooCommerce 2.3. In short, WooCommerce uses MaxMind GeoLite2 for customer's country identification.. Now, due to the end-user license agreement, MaxMind needs all user's approval to download GeoLite2 database and that's why for using this feature WooCommerce you need MaxMind license key.. Now, there's WordPress and PHP for WooCommerce 3.9 and for starting with this version you need to use WordPress 5.0 and PHP 7.0 or later versions.. Stores and eCommerce sites using older versions than PHP 7.0 and WordPress 5.0 will not be able to update to WooCommerce 3.9.. So, WooCommerce 3.9 offers various new features, new APIs, enhancements, and many more and there's requirement to start with WooCommerce like the requirement of WordPress 5.0 and PHP 7.0 ..
